Hull City
We started brightly and missed several clear chances before hull started to get on top
it was Hulls McLean, on for Jay Simpson, who scored within two minutes of coming on when scored from a low shot past Chris Kirkland after a neat approach play
Our boss Dave Jones who guided us to promotion last season, must be wondering where our next point is coming from after seeing us slip into the bottom three.
We should have gone into the lead when some good work from Michail Antonio and on loan
Ross Barkley set up Chris O’Grady but he could only put his effort over the bar.
Antonio continued to be a threat as he cut in from the left and curled a shot which brushed the outside of the post; also we almost went ahead when Miguel Llera’s header was cleared of the line.
It was hull boss Steve Bruce’s tactical switch which gave them the 3 points Mclean broke one on one with Kirkland and he found the back of the net.
We searched in vain for the equaliser but hull made it five wins from 10 league games.
