Friendly Stoke
Stoke boss Tony Pulis fielded two sides as his men drew 0-0 in their pre-season friendly at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Potters, who were in Europa League action on Thursday, fielded eight of those players that beat Hadjuk Split in the opening 45 minutes at Hillsborough before making wholesale changes at the break.
Trialist Juvhel Tsoumou was handed a start in midfield for Wednesday along with summer signings David Prutton and Jose Semedo.
With so many changes at half-time, it was a low-key encounter against the League One side, with Diego Arismendi coming closest to breaking the deadlock when he hit the woodwork late on.
The Owls will begin their quest for promotion from League One this week when they host Rochdale.
